The Plan of Salvation...
 is a simple plan

God Himself thought up the way we are to be saved before the world began.
2 Timothy 1:9 Who hath saved us, and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,

We must be sure to become saved God's way.
2 Peter 1:10  Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure:

When we do it like God would have us to then we can know we are saved.
1 John 5:13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

We must realize we must do something and know we are lost.  Then we can ask to be saved.
Acts 16:30-31  And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?  And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house

The Plan was that we all must believe on Jesus Christ and His suffering and dying on Calvary for the sins of the whole world.
2 Corinthians 5:15 And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.

The Plan gives us no other way to be saved.
Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is no other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

When we believe in GOD and His plan of salvation, we must repent.
Luke 13:3 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.

Repentance is to believe in God’s power and plan to save and nothing else.
1 Corinthians 3:11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

If we will come His way, He gave us a promise.
John 6:37 All that the Father give me shall come to me; and him that come to me I will in no wise cast out.

So you do the believing, God will do the saving.
Ephesians 2:8  For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

If we believe that Christ died for us and God had the power to raise Him from the dead, then believe that God has the power to take you to heaven if you will only ask.
Romans 10:9-10  That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believe unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

This Week's Message
By Brother John Taylor

Have you ever heard the question: "If no one is in the middle of the woods and a tree falls, does it still make a sound?"

This question reminds me of Achan who also reminds me of... well...just about everyone.  If Achan had a similar question to the one above, he would have asked: "If no one is around and I choose to sin, can I get away with it?"

Achan's life gives us a clear answer to this question and the answer is... no. God knows all our actions and our thoughts.

Even if we chose to sin in private, Achan's life shows us that our sins will be found out and the effects of even our private sins can hurt many.

Don't convince yourself that sin is not sin because no one is around to witness the behavior. Remember, you are never alone. God is always there.

This week's message:  Achan

Which would you like to have? Self centered life or God centered life?
