Plan of Salvation...
A Simple Plan...
God's Plan
God Himself thought up the way we are to be saved before the world began.
2 Timothy 1:9
Who hath saved us, and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before
the world began,
We must be sure to become saved God's way.
2 Peter 1:10
Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure:
When we do it like God would have us to then we can know we are saved.
1 John 5:13
These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that
ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the
Son of God.
We must realize we must do something and know we are lost. Then we can ask to be saved.
Acts 16:30-31
And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said,
Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house
The Plan was that we all must believe on Jesus Christ and His suffering and dying on Calvary for the sins of the whole world.
2 Corinthians 5:15
And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto
themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.
The Plan gives us no other way to be saved.
Acts 4:12
Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is no other name under heaven given
among men, whereby we must be saved.
When we believe in GOD and His plan of salvation, we must repent.
Luke 13:3
I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.
Repentance is to believe in God’s power and plan to save and nothing else.
1 Corinthians 3:11
For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.
If we will come His way, He gave us a promise.
John 6:37
All that the Father give me shall come to me; and him that come to me I will in no wise
cast out.
So you do the believing, God will do the saving.
Ephesians 2:8
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of
God:
If we believe that Christ died for us and God had the power to raise Him from the dead, then believe that God has the power to take you to heaven if you will only ask.
Romans 10:9-10
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in
thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For
with the heart man believe unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is
made unto salvation.

A Great Difference
Exodus 11:1-10 (text from verse 7) And the LORD said unto Moses, Yet will I bring one plague more upon Pharaoh, and upon Egypt; afterwards he will let you go hence: when he shall let you go, he shall surely thrust you out hence altogether. 2Speak now in the ears of the people, and let every man borrow of his neighbour, and every woman of her neighbour, jewels of silver and jewels of gold. 3And the LORD gave the people favour in the sight of the Egyptians. Moreover the man Moses was very great in the land of Egypt, in the sight of Pharaoh's servants, and in the sight of the people. 4And Moses said, Thus saith the LORD, About midnight will I go out into the midst of Egypt: 5And all the firstborn in the land of Egypt shall die, from the first born of Pharaoh that sitteth upon his throne, even unto the firstborn of the maidservant that is behind the mill; and all the firstborn of beasts. 6And there shall be a great cry throughout all the land of Egypt, such as there was none like it, nor shall be like it any more. 7But against any of the children of Israel shall not a dog move his tongue, against man or beast: that ye may know how that the LORD doth put a difference between the Egyptians and Israel. 8And all these thy servants shall come down unto me, and bow down themselves unto me, saying, Get thee out, and all the people that follow thee: and after that I will go out. And he went out from Pharaoh in a great anger. 9And the LORD said unto Moses, Pharaoh shall not hearken unto you; that my wonders may be multiplied in the land of Egypt. 10And Moses and Aaron did all these wonders before Pharaoh: and the LORD hardened Pharaoh's heart, so that he would not let the children of Israel go out of his land.
Introduction
Ephesians 2:12 That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:
1 Thessalonians 4:13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
I. There is a great difference between the nature of the saved and lost.
Ephesians 2:1 And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;
2 Corinthian 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new
2 Peter 1:4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
Colossians 3:10 And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:
II. The saved and the lost do not react the same way to sin.
1 John 3:18 My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.
Galatians 6:1-2 Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted. 2 Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.
III. There is a difference when they are under trial.
Job 23:10 But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.
Psalm 106:25 But murmured in their tents, and hearkened not unto the voice of the Lord.
IV. There is a difference in attitude.
Matthew 6:5 And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
V. There is a great difference when it comes time to die.
2 Timothy 4:6-8 For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. 7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: 8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
1 Corinthians 15:55-58 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? 56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. 57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
